As the Skyship flew over the Highlands, the night was strangely quiet. The only sound that can be heard, was the action taking place on it. Some of the passengers were talking or drinking in the dining room, telling stories and myths to one another. The rest were sleeping in their cozy leaf beds. All seemed well in the wind. Not a peep of disturbance in sight.
Suddenly, a faint drumming noise can be heard...
Boom Boom B-B-B-Boom Boom Boom B-B-B-Boom
Many of the passengers didn't hear it, as they were either sleeping or mucking around in the dining room. Yet only Nagasaki can hear the faint drumming noise, as it was steadily coming closer and closer.
"H-huh?" she wondered sleepily, "W-whats that noise?"
She got up and walked quietly, yet slowly out to the front deck. Despite being dreary-eyed she was still surprisingly alert of her surroundings. There were thick clouds in the distance, but they were not cumulonimbus clouds at all. The Velociraptor was confused and tries to look closer, as the ominous drumming came even closer. Then, out of the clouds, a huge skyship came from the clouds. However, it was black in color and looked more modified then a regular passenger-class skyship. Then Nagasaki saw something on the middle flag...
CROSSBONES.
Her eyes widened as she discovered what it was.
"BANDITS!" she screamed, "BANDITS ARE COMING THIS WAY!"
As soon as she screamed that out, the whole skyship shook violently with a boom! The bandits were beginning to fire at the ship! Now everyone on the ship knew about it and began to panic! When bandits began a raid, they usually show no mercy on the passengers or crew mates, taking anything shiny along their way! Nagasaki heads indoors, trying to find a place to hide! She went into her room and hid under the bed, and covered the sides of the bed.
After several shots were fired, the skyship was badly damaged. The bandit skyship stopped right next to it, and began to board the ship! Various dinosaurs and even humans came on board, swords at the ready! The drums then issued a faster version of their previous drumming, and the bandits then hollered loudly as they boarded the ship! Some of the passengers and attendants tried to fight back, but were unsuccessful as they got slashed by the swords! The rest began to put their arms up in surrender, hoping that they won't be killed.
As soon as most of the bandit crew were on board, the captain then showed up. It was a one-eyed, foul-breathing, nasty-looking, Dilophosaurus, with a sharp-pointed iron cone on his neck. He also had a nasty scratch mark on his right eye. He hisses as he came aboard growling at the passengers.
"Alright ya stinkin' screw heads!" he barked at the passengers, "Listen up! As ya'll know, this is a bandit raid! And any resistance met up by any one of ye foul-scummed maggots will be sent to hell! As long as ye be quiet and stay where ya, are as we pillage your ship for loot, we be causin' ya no harm..."
He looks at several of his crewmates.
"You two! Git inside and grab all the loot ya'll can find!"
"RIGHT!" saluted the crewmates, as they went inside the ship. They searched everywhere for good loot, yet finding fine bottles o' whisky, some emerald jewelry, and bags filled with scales.
Nagasaki can hear them coming this way and stayed quiet, hoping they won't find her under the bed. The bandits then searched her room. They managed to find her handbag and search through it.
"Heheh..." chuckled one of the bandits, "100 scales. Good find, eh?"
"And a bit of make up," said the other one, "Looks like a girl was staying here. Probably wanted to be with her boyfriend?"
"Bah, bully for her now, I might have a little fun with her once we~"
"Shut up! We are all married to treasure, ya blockheaded perv! Besides, ye go to your bothrel all the time and slap human girl's arses!"
"Why you- I'll slap ye face once we get back to base for that!"
"AYE! Try me mate! See what happens!"
The first bandit began to growl at the second one.
"Like I said... when we git back to base... I'll give ya a good slappin!"
And with that he went out the door. The second one was about to follow when he heard breathing from under the bed.
"Hmmmmm..." he sneered to himself, "Is it me.. or is there..."
He the slowly gets down and approaches the sheets. Nagasaki was already getting incredibly scared and held her breath, hoping he would go away. As the bandit was about to grab the bed sheet...
"AYE! SCREWHEAD! GIT OVA HERE! ARE YOU CHICKEN TO GET AN ARSE WHOOPIN, OR WHAT?!"
The second bandit growled as he got up.
"WADDIA SAY PUNK?!"
"I SAID, 'ARE YOU CHICKEN TO GET AN ARSE WHOOPIN?!'"
"SAY THAT TO MY FACE MAGGOT!" hollered the second bandit angrily as he got up and left the room. Nagasaki breathed a sigh of relief that she wasn't found, but still stayed put.
"STOP BLADDERING AROUND YOU DIMWITS!" roared the Dilophosaurus captain furiously, "OR I'LL BOIL BOTH OF YER ARSES TONIGHT FOR SUPPER!"
The two bandits instantly got quiet as the whole bandit crew began to head back into their ship, leaving the scared passengers on the ship. The Bandit Skyship began to head to the south, opposite of the looted ship, with the loot they had stolen. Everyone on board breathed a sigh of relief. Even Nagasaki did as well once she got out from under the bed.
"Phew..." she sighed, "I'm glad thats over..."
Suddenly everyone heard a scream to the south saying...
"FIRE!!!"
Everyone on board the skyship froze in fear when he said those words, as cannon shots began to hit the ship again! The bandits were trying to shoot the skyship down, as it has no use to them! The attendants on board then issued emergency parachutes to the passengers as they all abandoned ship one by one! Our Velociraptor was scared and confused, not knowing what was going on! She quickly tried to head back into her room and get all the stuff the bandits didn't steal from her! After that, she heads back to the front deck, only to see that everyone was gone! She didn't get a parachute! And worst of all...
She was left behind on the now doomed skyship!
"Oh no..." she muttered in fear, "What do I do, what do I do, WHAT DO I DO?!"
Suddenly, one of the cannon shots hit the actual balloon of the vessel, making a huge boom as the air quickly escaped the balloon! The ship then began to nosedive towards the ground! Nagasaki screamed in fear as she quickly gets inside and covers herself in all the blankets she can find onboard. She hopes that with enough blankets, it should protect her from crashing into the walls and to keep her from getting badly injured.
"I never knew all this would happen..." she thought to herself, "All by just caring a simple letter..."
The ship gets closer and closer to the ground, with parts of the burning ship flying off.
"I wish to know what turn of events led me to this moment, but please don't let me die like this..."
"Pretty please?"
