As the Navy SEAL Sergeant tried to figure out his situation regarding this strange new world he can something in the distance. It was obviously flying and was about one hundred meters away from him, give or take, but it was moving closer and closer to him, gaining speed! As the creature was within clear viewing range the US soldier yelled out:
"Flying dinosaur!?"
As soon as he said that the massive reptile collided with his parachute, piercing a large hole within his parachute and ultimately becoming trapped within the many strings of the chute! The sudden hit startled the SEAL and the creature's strange animalistic sounds weren't helping the situation at all, but he showed little fear due to his intense emotional and psychologically military training. However he was indeed scared, but he didn't dare showcase that emotion. He needed to act quickly and fact, and what was once fear and confusion was now a struggle between life and death!
As the reptile and the parachute move across the sky in all sorts of directions, the Sergeant reached down and grabbed a large combat knife that was strapped to his side, pulling it out from its sheath and quickly hitting the creature's massive beak with it! He hit it over and over again, but due to the awkward angles and positioning he could only scratch at its surface!

Ridley could feel the hits coming from Dwayne's knife, but he was concentrated on trying to be free from the parachute!
"GWAAAAAAAAAARK!" he screeched, "LET GO OF ME YOU STUPID HUMAN! AND YOUR CONTRAPTION TOO!"
After a few more twists, he finally got the parachute off his beak and flew quickly away, happy to be free from it.
"Stupid BLOODY humans..." he squawked to himself, "What are these idiot immigrants bringing into Panmundia now? It'll wipe us all out for damn sure!"
He flies off, continuing his corse to Loc Lac City.
"Flying bloody dinosaur..." he mumbled to himself, "What an idiot...."

"So, here's the Job Board!" Chloe said when the two reached the tall wooden frame. It was about 10ft x 15ft, made completely out of polished wood, and covered to the edges with nothing but paper fliers Ishten looked over the numerous, creative titles on each flier: Accident Investigation, Chaos Robbery, and Playing With Fire just to name a few. Other guild members were grouped around the board as well, looking over the numerous jobs and the amount of money being offered for each before deciding.
"So, let's see..." Chloe says while examining the board. "Do any jobs here peak your interest?"
"Well... Uh..." Ishten says nervously. There were so many jobs before him, each one sounding interesting and exciting. He wanted to jump to the harder ones right now, but he also didn't want to crash and embarrass himself on his first job. He didn't want to fail. Failing would be the worst thing that he could do now...
"How about this one?" Chloe says, picking up one of her wings and pointing her short digits towards a flier in one of the corners of the board. Its title was "Prescription Pick-Up", a one-star difficulty job. Ishten certainly didn't want to go on such an easy assignment, but he decided to look closer at the flier just in case.
Ishten took the flier in his hand ripped it from it's thumbtack, bringing it close to his face to read. It was a mission to collect some Gloamgrass Buds from out in Ruins Field, and to bring them back to a young Edmontosaurus who's father was sick. The reward was only about 600 Scales, which would probably be enough for a meal, and get him a place to stay overnight...
"I know it might not be what you expected..." Chloe starts.
"I'll do this one." Ishten says with a slight smile. He secretly was a disappointed he couldn't do something a tougher, but decided to settle for this for now.
"Ok, great then!" Chloe says excitingly before running over to behind a nearby counter. "This should be an easy mission for you. You should be back no later than nightfall." She then pulls out a big book, which she opens up via a bookmark to a calendar page. She then takes a small contraption in her jaws with a pen at one end, and quickly jots down some information in native Panmundian. Ishten walks over and reads it before she closes the book. It says:
Ishten - Perscription Pick Up (First Quest!)
"Good then! All set!" She shouts excitingly. "It should say the client's house number on the flier, and give you details about where to look. This is your first quest, so do you want someone to help you out as a supervisor? I don't know if you'd be comfortable doing so."
"Uh..." Ishten says again, nervously. "Well I guess I could-"
"SIS!" A call shouts from the other side of the room. Ishten turns to see the Thalassodromeus from earlier charging towards the counter, and Ishten has to quickly jump out of the way to avoid a collision. He then abruptly stops in front of the counter before Chloe, trying to talk to her. "Sis! I forgot! I'm so sorry about smashing into you earlier! A man like me can't possibly forgive himself for what happened!"
"I-It's quite fine, brother." She tries to reassure him. "See, not even get a scratch!"
The Thalassodromeus was less assured, however. "I'm so sorry sis! I can't be a man anymore if I ever let you get hurt!"
"Seth, it's fine..." Chloe said, revealing the Thalassodromeus' name. "Moreover, I'm kind of in the middle of something here with our new recruit..."
Seth then turned his head to look down at Ishten, and his eyes widen at the sight of a new face. "Whoops! Uh, sorry about that... My bad." He then lifts his wing up and points it towards Ishten. "I'm Seth. Glad to have you on board!"
"The pleasure's all mine." Ishten smiles, taking Seth's clawed hand and shaking it hard before he puts it back to the ground.
Chloe then speaks up. "He's going on his first mission right now. We were discussing the possibility of him having a supervisor."
"What kind of mission is it?" Seth asks.
"A gathering mission." Chloe says. "It involves getting some Gloamgrass Buds."
"Gloamgrass Buds?" Seth asks. "I know where there's a whole field to the west of the field. I flew over them just the other day after coming back from a mission."
"Really?!" Ishten says, curiously. "Where exactly?"
"Uh, if I remember correctly..." He says while thinking. "It was next to this big pond at the foot of a hill. There were also these red ruins which were half-submerged in the pond, but I don't know if that'd be a useful landmark considering there are literally ruins everywhere."
"Nah, that's perfect!" Ishten says as he takes his flier from off the counter. "I'll be back soon with the stuff. Thanks for the info!"
"No problem!" Seth says.
"Good luck!" Chloe shouts as Ishten heads out on his first job request. Just get some buds and deliver them to a sick hadrosaur. How hard could it be?

Watching Ishten from afar was a lovely Velociraptor named Nagasaki. Before the Deinoychus arrived, she was the newest member to the Guild, only staying for the last two months. She was a very happy and social dinosaur, who loved to talk to her friends and comrades. With the arrival of Ishten, Nagasaki was very much interested in him. However, he was going on a mission, so she had to wait until he gets back. In the meantime, she looks at the Guild Board to see what other quests are available.
"Hmmmmmm..." she thought to herself, "I wonder what quests I should take..."
She looks carefully at the board...
"What about Cha- no no, I'm not at that rank yet... Or what about Fruit Deliver~ mehhhhh, I want a bit more adventure in my quest today..."
Suddenly, she locates the mission called Messenge Sender. She looks at the details carefully and then chirps with delight!
"Oooh ooh! Thats a good one! I~"
"Found a good mission I see?" says a voice behind Nagasaki. She turns around to see old Cornellius come towards her.
"Oh hey Cornelius!" she chirped happily, "I just found a good mission I want to take!"
She then points to Messenge Sender, where the Carnotaurus looked though the details.
"Hmmmmmm..." he thought, "Not a bad mission. Are you sure you want to pass through the cold and rocky terrain?"
"Yes sir!" she said, jumping up and down, "I hadn't had a good trip in a while, so this might cure my lust for adventure!"
Cornelius then quickly looked back at the quest description.
"Then as you head towards Mezeporta City," he answered to Nagasaki, "Are you sure you can handle this?"
"Yes sir!" she chirped happily.
"Alright then," answered the Cornelius, "Now go quickly! And be safe!
"I will!" answered the Velociraptor as she began walking towards the doors.
And so her quest begins!

As the US Sergeant continued to slash at the massive beak of the massive Pterosaur he can see that the creature was wiggling free and soon the reptile was able to get himself unstuck from the parachute and it would soon flying away quickly, trying to get as far away from the SEAL as it could.
Relieved that this ordeal didn't end with him becoming a meal he began to relax and try to think at what just occured.
"A flying 'dinosaur' just attacked me. Weren't these things supposed to be extinct?" He told himself.
Before the Navy SEAL could continue his train of thought another issue had soon came to realization. When the giant Pterosaur attacked him, it ripped a massive hole within his chute and he is now in a desperate situation. He looked up and can see the hole flapping in the wind above him and stirring the parachute has now become a massive challenge and he was picking up speed!
On pure instincts, the Sergeant began to cut away at the strings of the parachute, trying to get himself free! With each string that cut away, he jerked to the side.. until finally he was once again free falling to the ground. This was no suicide attempt however.. the US Navy SEAL had something up his sleeve..

As the sun slowly sets on Barubaré Village, Nagasaki approaches the Skyship landing port. She needs to catch an Airship on route to Mezeporta City at 7:00 Pm, yet the time is 6:25 Pm currently. She needed to find her flight quickly. Yet there were so many of the airships that it was like a maze, with people and dinosaurs frantically trying to get to their flight. The Velociraptor heads into the crowd, and tries to find her flight. Unfortunately for her, she was very small and couldn't see anything other then legs walking by!
"Darnit!" she said frustratingly, "This will take forever for me to find my flight!"
She then saw a Stegosaurus flight attendant beside an airship and rushes towards him.
"Um, excuse me sir?" she asked, "Do you know where my flight is?"
She then shows him her ticket to her flight, with all the details.
"Ah yes," he answered, "Go straight 5 ships, make a right 6 ships and a left 3 ships. There you will find your flight."
"Thank you so much mr!" thanked Nagasaki, as the stegosaur nodded a "Your welcome," at her.
By 6:45 Pm, she managed to get to her flight, relieved that she wasn't late. She showed the attendant her ticket and she took a seat on a comfy leaf bed. Once it was 7:00 Pm sharp, the airship then began to take off to Mezeporta City. Nagasaki had around 2 hours to sleep and prepare for her quest.
"Ready or not Quest..." she whispered to herself quietly, "Here I come!"
She then closed her eyes and went to sleep.

As the Sergeant was freefalling from the sky once more he reached to his left shoulder and pulled a string. As soon as he did that another parachute sprung open from his back and he was lifted up high into the air! A backup parachute was stored with his back, just in case something happened to the first one. Though the backup chute was smaller, so the landing may not be as smooth as he hoped. Also, another event just occurred for the sudden thrust of the opened parachute caused unstrapped the M4 assault rifle that was attached to his chest! The military gun fell down from the sky and he knew he won't be able to recover it now.
"Fuck!" He called out, angered that the only sort of protection he had in this new world was now gone forever.
However.. good news should come at last for the parachute was making a direct course towards the top of some mountains not to far away. The Sergeant plans to land on one of the peaks. This would allow him to get a baring of his surroundings and here he'll be safe due to the altitude. As the parachute makes its way closer and closer to the mountains, a sudden mighty breeze came across the sky! Causing the parachute to sway in the wind! The Navy SEAL tried to get the parachute back on course, but it was no use! The wind here was too powerful and he was about to crash on a mountain peak! He can't land here now and he tried desperately to change his course and with sudden tug at the parachute's strings, the parachute made a mad right, barely missing the edged side of the mountain.
"..Phew.." Mumbled the Sergeant, but he was not in the clear yet..
As the parachute moved in-between two mountains peaks, a sudden draft of downward wind coming from the peaks hit his parachute like a freight train! He was now moving down the opposite side of the mountain fast, unable to control the parachute at all due to the powerful downwards draft that controlling his movements! As he picked up speed he tried to pull up as hard as he could, but this was no use.. he closed his eyes and hoped for the best!
As he continued down the face of the mountain a sudden draft of upwards wind coming from the ground hit his parachute, stabilizing it as it connected with the upwards draft. Finally, the Sergeant was able to gain control again, but he looked across all he can spot are trees and the ocean out towards the distance. He had no choice, but to land now, into the trees below. He then moved the parachute down and began to head towards the forest below, hoping the trees would break his fall..
However, this action would catch the attention of someone not too far away........

"Um... excuse me miss," asks a Hypsilophodon attendant in a squeaky voice, "We landed in Mezeporta City already."
Nagasaki slowly opens her eyes and yawns.
"Were already here?" she says drowsily, "T-that was fast..."
"Indeed," replied the Hypsilophodon, "It took the ship just two hours to get there. It isn't far from Barubaré Village anyways, so..."
"Thank you," she said as she packed her stuff, "I'll get my stuff and go."
"Enjoy your stay at Mezeporta City!" squeaked the attendant, as Nagasaki got off the Skyship. As she got out, the bright light made her cover her eyes for a few seconds until she got used to it. It was a bustling city, even at night, filled with people and dinosaurs heading to their locations and the cries, screeches, shouts, yelps and roars of the crowd fill the air with noise. Bright Lights lightened the roads and buildings and the huge Highland Mountains can be seen to the north, overlooking the bustling city below.
"Wow!" cried Nagasaki in awe, "This city is even bigger then I imagined!"
She looks around the city, trying to drink in all what she saw. For a few minutes she walked around, almost lost in this huge city. Then she remembered she was on a quest and look at the requirements on a small piece of paper. She needed to find the Parasaurolophus to get the note and then take a skyship again to Yukomo Village at midnight. The time was already 9:25 PM, so she needed to hurry up. She read the address of the Parasaurolophus and set out to find him.
An hour later, at 10:25 PM, she managed to find his residence and knocks on the door.
"One minute!" called a honking voice from inside. Then a little later the door opened, revealing what appeared to be the Parasaurolophus.
"Yes?" he asked.
"Hi! I heard you wanted to send a letter to Karen, the Guild Master of the Red Lambeosaur?" said Nagasaki.
"Are you here to deliver it?"
"Yes sir, I am."
"Ah! Good good! Hold on one minute, I'll get the letter!"
The duckbill quickly headed inside and a minute later he came back.
"Here madam," he said, "This is the letter to Karen. Please don't loose it, its very important!"
"Have no fear sir!" Nagasaki replied, "It will be delivered to her! I promise!"
"Alright then!" honked the Parasaurolophus, "I wish you good luck then!"
"Thank you." bowed the Velociraptor as she began to scurry off.
"And whatever you do!" called out the duckbill, "DO NOT OPEN THE LETTER PLEASE! THANK YOU!"
" I won't!" she cried before she went into the night. She then hurried back to the skyship landing port, taking her another hour to get there. Already it was almost time for her flight to leave. She hurried through the now moderately empty lanes to quickly get on to her flight. At 11:45 PM, she was able to find her skyship and quickly went in, showing her tickets to the attendant and hunkering down in another leaf bed.
"Ahhhhh..." she sighed, "Now I can relax for another few hours before I get to Yokomo Village."
Once midnight strook, the skyship was then ready to go and headed towards the Highlands. As Nagasaki slept peacefully, she was unaware that this flight was going to get a whole lot bumpier...

"Ok, finally here." Ishten says, slightly exhausted as he walks into the basecamp, which was rather mundane. It was on the top of a hill, and the only shelter to speak of was the shadow from a nearby pillar which stood a couple hundred of feet high. There was a few benches and a two boxes which held supplies incase of emergencies needed by wandering travelers, but nothing that he would require for such an easy quest.
It took Ishten quite a while just to get to the Ruin's Field basecamp. First he had to navigate through a huge crowd of ornithomimid tourists who all wanted directions, and then had his only method of transport to the Ruins Field basecamp be riding along in a wagon pulled by an old Anchiceratops who didn't speak native Panmundian; only ceratopsian. Nevertheless, Ishten managed to make it here before 3 PM, so that was at least some progress, but it was looking like he wouldn't be back until late. He wanted to make sure his first job was done flawlessly to ensure he got to the higher ranks quickly. He wouldn't be a failure, not like him.
He left the basecamp almost as soon as he entered it, and ran out into the fields below. The dry grass and plants crushed lightly beneath his feet, and around him stood dozens of stone monuments to a time long past. Ishten learned about these ruins when he was younger. He wanted to go and get a closer look at all of them, but his mind was now fixated on the task at hand. He couldn't afford to screw up.
Everyone back at the Guild was doing their regular routines. Chloe was cleaning the dishes and helping people take quests, Marcorav was up on his perch filling out some paperwork while enjoying an occasional drink, and Seth was drinking and roughhousing with the others - for the most part. Seth kept thinking back about what he told the new recruit earlier that day. He felt that he forgot something important to tell him about that particular area of Ruin's Field. Maybe it was just his imagination...
After thinking to himself a bit about that predicament, he returned to clobbering a Leptoceratops in the head for calling him the bighead, while also telling him to look in a mirror.

On the outskirts of the forest where the US Navy SEAL Sergeant was flying down towards was a group of three Panmundians. Altair the Utahraptor, Aquila the Haast's Eagle, and Aela the Panmundian human. The three were just getting back from a walk and were about to head in towards the forest so that they can reunite with the known Dark Guild, The Outlaws. A Guild whom wish to eradicate injustice from Panmundia at all costs. As they were moving closer to the tree line something catches the sharp eye of Aquila whom was situated on the right shoulder of Aela. She twists her head to the side and calls out with a point of her beak, "Hey, look! Up there."
Both Aela and Altair look up towards the direction of where Aquila was pointing at and to their surprise they could see someone falling down from the sky in what looks to be a parachute! Altair stares at Aela for a moment and Aela looks back at the Utahraptor with a surprise look on her face, not saying a word to one another. Aquila however was getting worried due to the speed of which he was falling and plain ol' curiosity was getting the best of her. "Uh, guys?" She calls out. "I think we should check it out.... he is moving a little too fast..." As soon as Aquila said that, the man on the parachute disappeared behind the trees, out of sight.
Aela nods her head in response to Aquila and says to Altair, "She is right, Altair... we should at least see if he is hurt."
Altair hisses for a moment for he doesn't want nothing to do with this mysterious man falling from the sky, but he too couldn't help but feel a bit worried. He quietly sighs and says, "Get on."
"Altair, I can wa-"
"Stop... I insist m'lady."
"Alright then." Replied Aela who then hopped onto the back of Altair.
With Aela firmly on his back he then leaped into forest and soon began run towards they area he predicts he would crashed landed. He swerves around the trees and jumps over rocks and logs as he made his way closer and closer to the predicted crash site. Aquila on the other hand took to the sky above, flying high above the trees to try and figure out where the man was exactly. Plus she didn't want to hurt Aela with her talons as she would have to hold tightly due to the bumps that be felt while she was riding Altair.
