The "giant multi-armed/legged thing" was said by Edward NOT to be in the film and was only created for the Teaser Trailer. If this is true or not, we have no idea.

Are you sure it is the exact same one? Have you seen the film?
All we have so far is that we have seen a winged Hokmuto (WonderCon five minute clip), an eight-legged Hokmuto (numerous clips), and a flying Hokmuto (again, seen in a clip.) If these are all the same creature or multiple is yet to be seen, obviously..

Decided to make these size comparison scales as Liam said in his Hokmuto profile that they (it?) ranges from 35-50m (115'-164') and possibly even 100m (330'.)
Godzilla 2014 is 350' at the top of his head.

Hokmutos at 35m/115' at the top of their head.

Hokmutos at 50m/164' at the top of their head.

The only difference between the previous is his size which Xeno thought the first was too small. Now he is slightly over 1300' in total length!
